Dohee Kwak explores how individuals change and adapt themselves through their interactions with the present that surrounds them, working with installation and multimedia sculpture. It begins with the body, the most immediately modifiable aspect of the individual, and extends to habits solidified through repeated adjustments, eventually reaching a sense of the era. The sensibility thus formed becomes, in turn, a present to which the individual must adapt, revealing traces left in a relationship of mutual transformation.
